Beskrivelse
Day 01 - Karnak & Luxor Temples
Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to Luxor, approximately three hours away from Safaga. Your first stop is the famous Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built and the greatest example of worship in history. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Greco Roman Kingdom. Within the complex, you will see the great Hypostyle Hall, an incredible forest of giant pillars.

Next is Luxor Temple, originally built during the reign of Amenophis III over 5,000 years ago. Witness some of the best preserved art work in Egypt. You can also take an optional evening tour to see the spectacular Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temples. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 02 - West Bank
After breakfast in your hotel, you will head to the West Bank of the River Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon). Next is the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs of the ancient kings were discovered. These tombs were curved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. We then visit the Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary, an impressive temple dedicated to the only female pharaoh Hatshepsut. The temple rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it. At the end of the tour, you will return to your hotel for a quick lunch and to check out before returning to Safaga Port for your scheduled cruise departure.
