See the main sights of both Kyoto and Nara, all in one day! Visit Nijo Castle, the Kyoto residence of the Tokugawa era shoguns, and the Golden Pavilion, a gold-leaf covered structure that houses sacred relics of Buddha. Take a stroll through the Kyoto Imperial Palace and later watch traditional Japanese artisans work their craft at the Kyoto Handicraft Center. In Nara, visit Todaiji, the world's largest wooden structure and home of the Great Buddha. Mingle with the deer at Nara Park and marvel at the lanterns at Kasuga Taisha Shrine.

Please Note
- Pick ups are available from selected Kyoto hotels.
- Children 5 years old and below are free of charge, provided they sit on an adult's lap. If they need a seat, they will be charged.
- You are required to fill out the form (your name, sex, age, nationality) when you enter the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
- On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed. On these days, the tour will visit an alternative destination (typically Kitano-tenmangu Shrine). The same is true of the period before and after the public viewing of the Kyoto Imperial Palace in April and October, May 14 to 17 due to the Aoi Festival, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event.
- On Tuesdays (Wednesday if Tuesday is a national holiday) in January, July, August, and December, Nijo Castle is closed. The tour will visit Ryoanji Temple or Daitokuji Daisen-in Temple instead. For 2013, Nijo Castle is also closed for the year-end/New Year's holidays.
- Transportation service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel, Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto, and Hotel Monterey Kyoto is not available on the days of Gion Festival (July 14 to 16) due to traffic restrictions.
- At Kasuga Shrine, the tour does not include entrance to areas requiring admission.
- Nara Nagomikan is replaced by another souvenir shop when closed.
